RULES YOU SHOULD CONSIDER FROM THIS THREAD



#1 This thread is only a guide line to give you an idea of what's the fair price of the item, values here are not TRUE PRICES.

#2 Even with this guideline, the price of the item is set by the seller and buyers have a choice depending if the price is reasonable or not.

#3 It is safe to say that the item price within the specified range is accurate, anything that exceeds it by a large amount (more than 100%) could be considered somewhat a rip-off. For example if someone sells a Pimp hat for 2b+ it is clearly a rip-off, it would be best to wait for another seller.

#4 The exception to rule#3 would be really rare items (Rare MVP cards or Headgears). People can charge whatever price they want and hope for a buyer, however the price range specified should be close to what's a fair trade. I've found that many people are sometimes selling for more and they can't find a buyer for weeks, sometimes they end up not selling the item. Anything below the specified price range would be a bargain so buy!

The price range was determined by the following:

  • people's suggested item price: found in this topic
  • black market prices: vendors in-game
  • chat room prices and deals in-game
  • buying/selling topics here in the forums
  • assumed demand from players: obtained chat with various players


REMEMBER: This is a reference topic. As such it helps you with known tendencies and other observations of the economy. It does not in any way, say any item is worth said price.

NOTE:If you are interested in a value in a different currency (Aka, VF's and Zeny) Grab a calculator, and do the math.

VF = #Miths x Mith Value in Zeny / Vflower Zeny Value
Zeny = #Miths x Mith Value in Zeny

Current Currency Values -> Mithril: 38m~ 40m

Different Kinds of Gear -> Nebula Aura: 25 Mith

Etc. Items -> Reanimator: 70m~ 100m
Etc. Items -> Bubble Gum: 35m~ 40m

Seen as how the donation hats are now tradable, could these be added to the list. The price for any donation hat is 10-15miths, I worked this out using the enriched elunium box (which is the most profitable too sell, 10 X 1 mith each = 10miths for 700 points)
