Patcher Errors and Solutions

• "Files\GatheringRO\KPatcher\Default\skin.bmp". The system cannot find the path specified
  Make sure that you're running the patcher as an Administrator. (Windows Vista and 7; Right-Click the Patcher shortcut and choose "Run as Administrator") (Windows XP; Make sure you have administrator rights and/or you are actually using the administator account)
• Access violation at address 00499C58 in module 'GatheringRO-Patcher.exe'. Read of address 203D206E.
  Maybe an Anti-Virus Software is blocking the Patcher. Add the patcher to the trusted list of your anti virus software or disable it.
  Also make sure that your Firewall isn't blocking the Patcher. Add the patcher to the allow list of your firewall or disable it.
  Running the patcher as an administrator might also help.
  
• (FTP) Failed to get patch or Error connecting to host "IP"
  Be sure that your internet connection is okay or if the server is underdoing maintenance.
  Always make sure that GatheringRO is not running while patching.
  Maybe an Anti-Virus Software is blocking the Patcher. Add the patcher to the trusted list of your anti virus software or disable it.
  Also make sure that your Firewall isn't blocking the Patcher. Add the patcher to the allow list of your firewall or disable it.
• Error opening file! (error: 5)@(Src\Grf\Grf.cpp:944)
  This error is caused when GatheringRO is running while patching. You should never play while patching!
• Invalid format patch list ()
  Please make sure to run the patcher only once, running 2 instances of the patcher causes this error.
• Error opening patch_list.plt
  Go to the main folder where you've installed GatheringRO. ( Default installation folder is C:\Program Files\GatheringRO )
  Search for the file called patch_list.plt and delete it. Then try to start the patcher again.
• (HSR) Failed to get information on 92.51.171.28/patcher/patch_list.plt for HTTP (GLR:12029)
  In this case the patcher server is currently offline, this is mostly the case when there's a major server maintenance ongoing.
  Read the latest news on our website or directly on your patcher. If there's no maintenance ongoing, it's possible that your internet connection is way to slow or not working at all.
• Sometimes the patcher is flickering or closing and re-opening again before it starts patching. Why is that?
  This is the Automatic Update System for the Patcher itself.
