  2. Yes, these items can be put into the selling list of the NPC. And of course, price check has to be done for everything before implementing it.
  3. Hi admin team, We all know that people with supplies will be the one who determine the prices. People who have the most MVP cards, for example, will be selling them for any prices that they feel 'reasonable'. And for some, especially newbies, this 'reasonable' will only make them harder to hang onto this server. My idea is to eliminate these people who think of their prices as 'reasonable' by introducing a NPC which is selling items for zenny or coins as per definition in accordance to the NPC's version of 'reasonable'. Yes, this NPC will be the one who determine the prices of these items. So what happen to these people who are trying to control the economy do? Either they would be selling the items at the same price as the NPC or they would lower down their prices. Instead of competing against this NPC, they will be competing with other players too in prices. Newbie will have a chance of surviving in this server, this would encourage more trades among the players at 'more reasonable' prices. Even if this don't work out between the players, people will always have an option to go for the NPC. Prices of these items should not be too low so that things don't go overpopulated in this server. Please consider. Hope to hear from the rest, especially from the admin team. P/S: Please note, I said items. I did not specifically said MVP cards. MVP cards are only used as an example.

But hey, I get what you meant. See the contradictions that you made in your statements? You first said it's based on drop rate so I asked how you got that from? And now you're quoting Everade's statement (as a reference). Is it not funny? Anyway, back to what I asked, do you have any reference to back up what you said. I mean this statement down here that you said. Hope to hear from you.
  9. Can you show me how you calculated it? I don't remember asking for the value. I asked that whether it's based in drop rate chance (your assumption or please show evidences for this) or per Luk (based on what Everade said). That's why I highlighted it. Please read carefully. I asked for evidences or references. You showed me examples that you made of your own based on your assumptions. Therefore, please read and understand what I wanted and not replying what is there not related to the questions. I wish to hear from Everade too.

That it's based in drop rate chance? Everade only stated 0.01% chance increase per Luk. No drop rate chance is referenced. Also, can you refer me to how this is related to your calculated figure will be added to the base drop rate? Please understand I'm not challenging you but I need evidences for my understanding. I think it's bad to spread false things to people. For understanding purposes, please show me your evidences or references. Much appreciated. Thanks!
  11. Hi, I took my time to read it, yet I felt something was wrong with the interpretation that I got from you and from Everade. As stated by Everade, 0.01% chance increase per Luk Taking back the LUK = 342 example, should the increased drop rate should yield 3.42%. Hence the new total drop rate would be 4.42%. This is my understanding and that's why I asked. Can you verify my understanding? Please enlighten me. Thanks!

  13. No, the system still rolls twice, with the exception that the drop rate now has been increased by 50% in a VIP account. Taking back your example on the Dew Laden Moss from Plankton @ 10% (basic account + without bubblegum effect), VIP account will in turn gives you a drop rate of 15% (without bubblegum effect). Therefore to calculate the new drop rate of Dew Laden Moss from Plankton in a VIP account with bubblegum effect in terms of probabilities, while taking account of the system for rolling twice, the event of failure should take place first before the successful event [P(F) * P(S)] since the system does not allow a second drop IF the first event is successful, following the usual probability formulae: P(S) + [P(F) * P(S)] = 0.15 + (0.85*0.15) = 0.28 Hence, the drop rate will be 28% after using bubblegum for a VIP account. Just in case you're curious of the drop rate of the MVP card, P(S) + [P(F) * P(S)] = 0.015 + (0.985*0.015) = 0.0298 The drop rate has been increased from 1% (basic account + without bubblegum effect) to 2.98% (VIP account + bubblegum effect). That's approximately 3 times higher than of usual drop rate. Hope that helps. Side Note: 1) P(S) = Probability of SUCCESS drop rate P(F) = Probability of FAILURE drop rate
