Just a little heads up, I'm not updating this anymore.

Most people think that Priests are a weak class, since in the big picture, Priests are meant for healing and support. So usually, people on a rampage usually pick on the priests in sight. What i am about to explain is everything you need to know about playing priest. [:

Ch.1 Skills

al_heal.gifHeal:

Basic Acolyte skill mastered at Lv.10.

This skill can be used to restore a target`s HP or to inflict damage on Undead monsters.

The caster`s Base Level, Skill Level and INT all affect the amount of HP recovered by Heal.

When Heal is cast on Undead monsters, it inflicts an amount of Holy

property damage equal to half of the HP that the skill would recover on other targets.

The SHIFT key must be pressed in order to target monsters with this skill.

Each cast is followed by a 1 second Skill Delay.

al_angelus.gifAngelus:

Prerequisite: Divine Protection Lv.3

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Increase the Defense rate of the caster and all of the caster`s party

members within the caster`s screen for the skill`s duration.

Angelus has a 0.5 Cast Time and 3.5 second Skill Delay.

al_holywater.gifAqua Benedicta:

Basic Acolyte skill mastered at Lv.1.

Create Holy Water when character is standing in normal water.

Each cast consumes 10 SP and is followed by a 2 second Skill Delay.

al_blessing.gifBlessing:

Prerequisite: Divine Protection Lv.5

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Temporarily increase target`s STR, INT, and DEX for the skill`s duration.

Casting Blessing on a target will cure the Curse and Stone Curse statuses.

Blessing can also cause Curse against Undead enemies when the SHIFT

key is pressed to enable targeting of this skill on monsters.

al_cure.gifCure:

Prerequisite: Heal Lv.2.

This skill is mastered at Lv.1.

Cure removes the Cursed, Silence, Chaos and Blind statuses.

This skill also causes the Chaos status when used on Undead monsters (not yet implemented).

Each cast consumes 15 SP and is followed by a 1 second Skill Delay.

al_incagi.gifIncrease AGI:

Prerequisite: Heal Lv.3

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Double the target`s AGI and Movement Speed to increase its Attack and Flee Rates.

Each cast consumes SP and 15 HP and is followed by a 1 second Skill Delay.

al_decagi.gifDecrease AGI:

Prerequisite: Increase AGI Lv.1

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Decrease AGI can reduce a target`s Movement Speed and

AGI by a low chance, but it has no effect on Boss monsters.

This skill`s level and the caster`s INT affect

Decrease AGI`s success rate, and the target`s

Magic Defense reduces the success rate. Decrease

AGI has a 1 second Cast Time and 1 second Skill Delay.

al_demonbane.gifDemon Bane:

Prerequisite: Divine Protection Lv.3.

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Increase the character`s Attack Strength against Undead and Demon monsters.

al_dp.gifDivine Protection:

Basic Acolyte skill mastered at Lv.10.

Increase the character`s Defense against Undead and Demon monsters.

al__holylight.gifHoly Light:

Special Acolyte skill that can only be

learned after Job Lv.30 by completing a quest.

Attack a target from a distance with a holy light that inflicts an amount

of damage equal to 125% of the caster`s Magic Attack Strength.

Each cast consumes 15 SP and is followed by a 2 second Skill Delay.

al_pneuma.gifPneuma:

Prerequisite: Warp Portal Lv.4.

This skill is mastered at Lv.1.

Shield an area (3+3+3 = 9 cells) that will block long ranged

attacks directed at characters within Pneuma`s range.

Pneumas cannot be overlapped or cast on top of each other.

Each cast consumes 10 SP.

al_ruwach.gifRuwach:

Basic Acolyte skill mastered at Lv.1.

Summon a holy light around the caster that will detect and damage hidden enemies within its range.

Ruwach inflicts an amount of Holy property damage equal to 145% of the caster`s attack strength.

Each cast consumes 10 SP.

al_crucis.gifSignum Crucis:

Prerequisite: Demon Bane Lv.3

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Decrease the Defense of Undead and Shadow property monsters within a wide range.

Although Signum Crusis has a low success rate, it increases as the level difference between

the caster and target becomes greater.

When successful, the targets will have a "..." emoticon displayed over their heads

and will suffer from decreased Defense until they are killed.

Each cast consumes 35 SP, regardless of skill level,

and has a 0.5 second Cast Time followed by a 2 second Skill Delay.

al_teleport.gifTeleport:

Prerequisite: Ruwach Lv.1.

This skill is mastered at Lv.2.

Instantly move the caster to a different location. At skill level 1,

Teleport will move the caster to a random spot within the same map.

At skill level 2, it will moves the caster to his Save Point.

Consumes 10 SP at Lv.1, and 9 SP at Lv.2.

al_warp.gifWarp Portal:

Prerequisite: Teleport Lv.2.

This skill is mastered at Lv.4.

Consume a Blue Gemstone to create a Warp Portal that will

transport those that enter to the portal`s destination.

Warp Portals will close after transporting the maximum number of

characters or after the skill duration elapses.

When this skill is mastered, the caster can save a total of 3 warp destinations,

Memo Points, by using the "/memo" command.

The caster`s Save Point will always be available as an extra Warp Portal destination.

Warp Portals can only transport a total of 8 characters, regardless of skill level.

A 1 second Skill Delay follows the casting of Warp Portal.

pr_aspersio.gifAspersio:

Prerequisites: Acolyte`s Aqua Benedicta Lv.1;

Priest`s Impositio Manus Lv.3.

This skill is mastered at Lv.5.

Endow a weapon with the Holy property for the skill`s duration.

Holy property weapons can inflict more damage on Undead and Shadow property monsters.

Each cast consumes 1 Holy Water item.

pr_benedictio.gifB.S Sacramenti:

Prerequisites: Aspersio Lv.5, Gloria Lv.3.

This skill is mastered at Lv.5.

Endows the Holy property on the armor of party members

within a 3*3 cell area for this skill`s duration.

3 characters, which must be Priests, Monks or Acolytes,

must be next to the caster in order for B.S.

Sacramenti to be cast. Undead and Demon monsters within the range of

this skill will be d damaged by the Holy property.

pr_gloria.gifGloria:

Prerequisites: Kyrie Eleison Lv.4, Magnificat Lv.3.

This skill is mastered at Lv.5.

Temporarily endow the caster and his Party Members with an additional 30 LUK for this skill`s duration.

Gloria consumes 20 SP regardless of skill level.

pr_impositio.gifImpositio Manus:

Basic Priest skill mastered at Lv.5.

Bless a targeted player`s weapon to increase its Attack Power for 60 seconds.

Each cast of Imposito Manus is followed by a 3 second Skill Delay.

pr_sprecovery.gifImprove SP Recovery:

Basic Priest skill mastered at Lv.10.

Recover SP every 10 seconds while character stands still.

The amount of recovered is the sum of an

SP amount equal to the skill`s level multiplied by 3,

and an SP amount determined by the character`s Max SP.

pr_kyrie.gifKyrie Eleison:

Prerequisite: Angelus Lv.2.

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Cast a barrier on a targeted player that will have

an amount of HP equal to the character`s Max HP.

This barrier will last a maximum of 2 minutes, and the number of attacks that

it can withstand is affected by this skill`s level.

The barrier is unaffected when attacks miss or when the

shielded character performs perfect dodges.

If the barrier receives an amount of

damage greater than its remaining HP,

then it is immediately destroyed and the character is

inflicted with the excess damage.

Kyrie Eleison is immediately canceled if the

Holy Light skill is cast on the shielded character.

pr_lexaeterna.gifLex Aeterna:

Prerequisite: Lex Divina Lv.5.

This skill is mastered at Lv.1.

Cast Lex Aeterna on an enemy in order to double the damage of the the next attack that is inflicted on it.

This skill cannot be cast on characters afflicted with the Stone Curse or Frozen statuses.

Each cast consumes 10 SP and is followed by a 3 second Skill Delay.

pr_lexdivina.gifLex Divina:

Prerequisite: Acolyte`s Ruwach Lv.1.

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Inflict the Silence status, which blocks the use of skills, on a target by low chance.

Lex Divina cannot be used on Boss monsters. When a target is already silenced,

this skill will remove the Silence status.

The caster can target Lex Divina on enemies up to 5 cells away.

pr_macemastery.gifMace Mastery:

Basic Priest skill mastered at Lv.10.

Increase damage inflicted with Mace class weapons. The additional

damage granted by this skill pierces the Defense of monsters.

pr_magnificat.gifMagnificat:

Basic Priest skill mastered at Lv.5.

Double the SP restoration rate for caster and caster`s Party Members for this skill`s duration.

Magnificat consumes 40 SP, has a 4 second Cast Time and a 2 second Skill Delay.

pr_magnus.gifMagnus Exorcismus:

Prerequisites: Turn Undead Lv.3,

Lex Aeterna Lv.1, Safety Wall Lv.1.

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Consume 1 Blue Gemstone to summon a grand cross on a 7*6 cell area targeted on the

ground to inflict powerful damage to Undead and

Demon monsters. chosen ground within 7*7 cells,

which deals powerful damages on Undead and Demon monsters.

This skill inflicts an amount of Holy property damage equal to the

caster`s MATK every 3 seconds and the total possible

number of hits is equal to the skill`s level.

This skill has a 15 second Cast Time followed by a 4 second Skill Delay.

pr_resurrection.gifResurrection:

Prerequisites: Increase SP Recovery Lv.4, Status Recovery Lv.1.

This skill is mastered at Lv.4.

Revive a dead character, bringing them back to life with an amount of HP depending on this skill`s level.

On Undead monsters, Resurrection has the same effect as the Turn Undead skill.

Each cast consumes 1 Blue Gemstone and 60 SP.

pr_safetywall.gifSafety Wall:

Prerequisites: Sanctuary Lv.3, Aspersio Lv.4.

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Create a magic barrier that offers protection from physical melee attacks within 1 cell.

Each cast consumes 1 Blue Gemstone, and cannot be

performed on a cell on which a Safety Wall is still active.

Safety Wall`s skill level affects the skill`s duration and

the number of attacks that the Safety Wall can block.

pr_sanctuary.gifSanctuary:

Prerequisite: Acolyte`s Heal Lv.1.

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Consume 1 Blue Gemstone to cast a holy area on the ground

that will provide a limited number of heals to other characters.

The number of healing time is equal to half of the

total number of characters benefiting from the Sanctuary.

Sanctuary Lv.10 can provide a total of 26 heals.

Undead and Demon monsters will be knocked 2 cells backward, and

receive Holy property damage equal to half of the

amount of HP that characters would recover.

Each time a monster is damaged is equal removes 2 heals from Sanctuary`s limit.

This skill will heal characters or damage Undead and

Demon monsters every second for its active duration.

Sanctuary has a 5 second Cast Time regardless of skill level

pr_slowpoison.gifSlow Poison:

Prerequisite: Status Recovery Lv.1.

This skill is mastered at Lv.4.

Temporarily halts HP reduction caused by the Poison status on the targeted character. However,

Slow Poison will not nullify the Defense reduction (-25%) caused by the Poison status.

pr_recovery.gifStatus Recovery:

Basic Priest skill mastered at Lv.1.

Cure several abnormal statuses such as Undead, Frozen, Stone Curse or Stun.

When Status Recovery is cast on Undead monsters (hold down the SHIFT key to target monsters),

it will inflict the Blind status.

pr_suffragium.gifSuffragium:

Prerequisite: Impositio Manus Lv.2.

This skill is mastered at Lv.3.

Reduces the Cast Time of one skill cast.

If the character targeted by Suffragium does not cast any

skill within the time limit, Suffragium`s effect is canceled.

Priests cannot cast Suffragium on themselves. Each cast

consumes 8 SP and is followed by a 2 second Skill Delay.

pr_turnundead.gifTurn Undead:

Prerequisites: Resurrection Lv.1, Lex Divina Lv.3.

This skill is mastered at Lv.10.

Turn Undead has a certain chance of delivering instant death to Undead monsters.

If Undead monsters are not instantly killed by this skill, they will receive a suitable amount of damage.

This skill has a 1 second Cast Time, followed by a 3 second Skill Delay.

Ch.2 Equipment

The Equipment for being a battle priest and support priest are totally different. Lets branch off here and Start with the Equipment for a Support priest.

Headgear1: Depending on the sex; Male: Pimp Hat[1], Female: Luxury Hat.[1]

The card in the hat can either be a Marduk Card: Resistant to Silence. or Kiel Card: Reduce Cast Down time by 30%

Headgear2: Sunglasses[1] or Nebula Aura[1], containing either a Kiel card, or Basco card.

Body: Varmor -Holy armor (Angeling) or a Tao. Orc Lord works too.

If you are wearing Holy Armor, make sure to Asperio the Melee Classes and Ranged Classes

Weapon: +10 Lich Bone Wand[2] or Book Of Dead [2]

My suggestion in those would be containing a WS and Thana. More to that later.

Shield: VShield[1] Containing either GTB or Thara Frog.

Robe: Vmant[1] Containing a Sinx Card. (Cloaking)

Shoes V.Shoes[1] Containing a FBH. MATK + 10%

Accessory:Orlean Gloves[1] x2. Each of them containing Cookie Card.

Now we have the Battle Priest;

(Note that i'm not an expert at Battle Priests, since i rarely use mine)

Headgear1: VH[1] (all stats +30) or DLH[1] (all stats +25 but HP+15%)

Headgear2: Sunglasses[1] or Nebula Aura[1], containing either a Kiel card

Body: Varmor -Holy armor (Angeling) or a Tao. Orc lord works too.

Weapon: +10 Mace[4] Containing a Thana, Tgen, Vrand, and WS, if you dont want WS, you can insert a hydra or whatever, phree.

Shield: Vshield with a GTB or Thara Frog.

Robe: Vmant[1] Containing a Sinx Card. (Cloaking)

Shoes Sleipnir

Accessory: 2 Megs.

Ch.3 Dueling without GTB

(First of all, know that i'm only teaching you the basics, if you're going to add in glitter and sparkles, go for it)

Dueling with no GTB really easy. First of all, you need a soul linker:

Level the linker until you get the skill Priest Spirit. Make it level 5.

Next, go to the SkillMaster in town to get the Platinum Skills. He can be found here (@warp prontera 158 193)

He will give you the skill Holy Light ( al__holylight.gif ).

After that, Fully buff yourself (Assump, Blessing, Increase AGI, Slow Potion etc), and Link yourself.

If you're attacking;

a LK - Cast Safety Wall and Asperio him/her. After doing so, Spam HL. Safety wall makes their attack Miss. Use Cloaking to get away if necessary.

a Creator - Cast Pneuma (makes AD Miss) instead of Safety Wall, and spam HL as well. Use Cloaking to get away if necessary.

a Sniper - Cast Pneuma (makes it miss) and again, spam HL.

a Priest - If its a FS, use Angeling Armor or GTB, if its a BP, use Safety Wall and Asperio him/her. Use Cloaking to get away if necessary.

a Sinx - Now we all do know there are many SB Sinx's on this server, but all you need to do is, Safety wall! ;D And Asperio them when you're wearing Holy Armor.

a Professor - Equipt your gtb (so they cant dispell your link) and hit them >;o

a Whitesmith - Again, use SW o3o;;

a Champion - Use Pneuma when it FO's you, and Safety wall when it Asura's you. Use Unfrozen armor again for in case it freezes you.

a Pally - I swear this is the EASIEST class to beat if you know how to work with it. First of all, cast Safety Wall, because Most pallies depend on their Sacrifice (takes away 10% of its HP per hit.) So they'll pretty much Sac themselves to death, and wear Undead armor/Unfrozen armor, whichever one. So you wont get frozen, since when you freeze, the Sac increases the damage.

a Clown/Gypsy - Wear Unfrozen for Clown. They're simply easy, just holylight them and they will die. XD

a Stalker - Dont bother using Ruwatch on these. And sometimes, a stalker can be so chicken that it will stay in Chase Walk forever -_-;

I prefer Marduk more than Kiel.

You really don`t need Kiel that much, for HP`s.

When you`re receiving attacks, Heal reduces its delay which means that you could spam it faster without Kiel.

And.. Silence is the best counter for HP`s so I say Marduk is the best.

;)

Lich`s Bone Wand has 2 slots by the way.

Isn't BOD just 2 slots? In any case are you going to give a FS guide too? Just out of curiosity. If you want help with that I'm a pretty darn good FS Priest.

i prefer to keep a bacsojin card in my lux. i had a kiel once on my priest, and to be honest.. i noticed no real difference. i don't suggest priests use one.

Bascojoin only boosts your Heal by like 2k. Kiels really do help with faster healing. Not holy light, since there is no casting down time. I strongly suggest kiel and marduk. But thats only my opinion ;)

Does Lux/Pimp effects stack with basco? like lux/pimp = 10X heal power. So does the 2k turn into 20k or what? o.O

Bascos do stack. And Lux/Pimp hat is Regular heal x11. So if you have 2k heal, you have 22k heal.

so lets say you heal 6k, 30% would be like... 1.8k x 11 would be 20k? HOw would a 20k extra on heals not help? o.o

maybe it wont help because if your a high priest with high def thana would kill you faster and without the heal being higher you die, am i right ravina?

You also forget that.. Maya card is sorta just as good as gtb in my opinion because i use heal and just heal myself why the spam me with a maya. Even sometimes they back off and run because they know they will kill there self anyway.. Btw.. Names Dometrius aka jenku :D
