Casting Time Bug

Dear Gm Everade,

Casting Time seems look error/bug. Warlock Cast time slow like snail even with Nyd Card unlike before update.

Sacra : Variable Cast

No. Nyd card has the same effect as Sacra, they both reduce the Fixed cast time but they don't stack. Unlike the Belzeebub Card, it only reduces the variable cast time which acts the same effect as adding Dex and Int.

The thing with variable reductions is that it's a bit wonky - it works in a way you don't want it to work lol. They are not worth it imo since dex now gives a boost in MATK per 5 points.

VCT (seconds) = BaseVCT × (1 − SQRT[{DEX × 2 + INT} ÷ 530]) × (1 − Sum_VCTReduc ÷ 100)

Now that fixed cast time is properly implemented the highest you can get is 50%. Since the formula only gets the highest fixed reduction. Eg. If you have Nyd and Radius on, you'll only get the 50% from Nyd.

FCT (seconds) = (BaseFCT - Sum_FCT) × (1 − Max_FCTReduc ÷ 100)

It's not really bugged, it's just that FCT is now fully implemented, pre-patch you can stack up Int and Dex to get insta-cast without having to rely on Nyd and Sacra.

So mages are pretty much doomed if they get hit-locked or at least they would be limited to skills without fixed cast time. Maybe Phen card et al effects in WoE isn't a bad idea? (Though an unstoppable Comet is a fearsome tool of destruction)
