Pet Evolving

Pet Updates
- Implemented official pet evolution system

- Pets now also support automated feeding just like with the Homunculus
- Corrected various pet system mechanics
- Fixed several pet bonuses which were missing RC_Player bonus to take actual effect on players
- Corrected hungry decreasement level on all official pets
- Resolved some pets walking too slow
- Fixed a duplicate path status on Homunculus

Quest & NPC Updates
- Corrected several NPC names
- Corrected NPCs not properly being hidden and displayed in some Einbroch Quests
- Updated Comodo Guide NPC with new coordinates
- Added Cool Event Corp Staff in Lighthalzen
- Corrected the last Piano Key Quest NPC location in Niflheim
- Fixed a next button error for Guard Leader in the Buwaya Quests
- Updated some Gunslinger shops which were still selling old bullets which are no longer functional
- Updated Rock Ridge Kafra NPCs
- Fixed infinity loop issue if user input any number except 0 on the ice cream merchant npc

Monster Updates
- Fixed Eddga's HP (from 247500 to 947500)
- Updated Rock Ridge monster item drops (still not fully official)
- Fixed an issue with a cooldown after killing Wounded Morroc
- Updated mob database with all the latest information available

Item Updates
- Updated several item prices with the latest official information available. (including reduced Gold price)
- Fixed instruments (W_MUSICAL, W_WHIP) not receiving attack bonus from DEX
- Fixes several item bonuses getting their bonus capped when they shouldn't be
- Reduced weight on most status buff dishes
- Corrected Blue Bow's location
- Corrected Ukulele Of Newoz, Floral Mic Of Igu and Ukulele Of Newoz + Winged Ring Of Newoz combo that should increase the SP usage of skills (instead of decrease)
- Corrected Wurst (Brusti) item type and added missing additional item effect
- Corrected item effects for Twin Pompom By JB, Holy Saber, Fancy Mini Crown, Heart Hunter Evil Card, Grand Cross, Vellum Weapons, Mental Destroyer, Immaterial Sword, Rolling Thunder, Death Fire, Dark Priest Card, Refined Immaterial Sword, Hanbok Bag, Gigantic Bow, Shield of Naga, Sealed Atroce Card, Rice Cake Soup and many more
- Added missing item ID 29026 - Def20 and corrected item bonus for item ID 4893 - Def15 (Rock Ridge enchantment stones)
- Fixed several item combo bonuses
- Added item effect for Test Reagent which is dropped by the MVP T_W_O
- Sword stick can now be equipped by all Mage classes, not just Wizards
- Removed some costume refinability
- Corrected Elemental Robe (ID 15177) and Elemental Cape (ID 20820) job requirements
- Tons of other bug fixes updates and implementation of new items
- Added new visual headgear effects to existing headgears!

Skill Updates
- Implemented Magma Eruption Dot Damage which is the second attack for Magma Eruption. Magma Eruption is now neutral element, attack type is weapon and ignores the accuracy check.
- Fixes the Provoke icon getting removed when clif_changeoption is called and it's not an infinite duration
- Fixed Taekwon Running fixed cast time
- Corrected Summoner's base ASPD rates and removed custom rates for Dagger, Book and 2H Staff
- Corrected cast times and duration for several Rebellion skills
- Firewall should check at cast begin if unit max count has been reached.
- Fixed Defending Aura effect triggering twice as incorrect Devotion behavior
- Enchant Arms now displays a status icon depending on the element (skill level) being used
- Fixed Kagerou/Oboro Cross Slash div_ check looking for the status change rather than the skill ID
- Sense's negative informational stats will now be capped to 0 and show it accordingly

Feature Updates
- RODEX ~ Message size has been increased from 255 signs to 500 in total
- Achievements ~ Enabled new monster target achievements and fixed a potential crash issue on certain achievements
- Equip Switch ~ Resolved a potential crash with invalid items
- Forging ~ Corrected Weapon Forging inventory search

Instance Updates
- Devil tower ~ Now supports the official progress bar feature
- Geffen Magic Tournament ~ Corrected several quest database issues and fixed last match reward
- The Last Room ~ Added item effect for Test Reagent which is dropped by the boss T_W_O

Core Updates
- Fixed an issue with progress bars. Additionally if progress was being canceled and a message window was active, the user would be stuck, because no close button would show
- Fixed potential map server crash related to script commands
- Fixed potential crash with attempting to log a message with a floating NPC
- Several core improvements and cleanups
- Improved Instance command handling to improve the user experience
- Improved some error messages related to invalid items
- Fixed a rare disconnection issue due to killing monsters with an active Taekwon Mission
- Fixed minor time format related issues
- Fixed some bonus types which were overwriting each other instead of accumulating. This fixes issues related to several items/gear
- Resolved an issue with monster's class not being properly recalculated when using script commands
- Fixed HP and MaxHP adjustment for monster, homunculus, mercenary, elemental, and NPC
- Fixed MaxSP adjustment for homunculus and elemental
- Fixed Size adjustment for monster, homunculus, mercenary, and elemental
- Fixed Race adjustment for monster, homunculus, mercenary, and elemental
- Fixed the Map ID string check to support all unit types
- Fixed potential race-condition possibility in cart item transaction
- Fixed issues to mapflag restriction settings which was missmatching in a lot of cases
- Capped some status rate values to prevent them from falling below 0 or exceeding ranges of 1000 or 10000 respectively
- Corrected guild level increases in certain cases
- Fixed issues related to reloading scripts in a live environment. This caused certain unloaded NPCs to get stuck as being loaded
- Fixed issues related to scripts were unit coordinates are being called
- Implemented NPC blocking features which are used in several official scripts. They prevent certain player actions during specific sections of NPC interaction
- Improved the OnTouch overlap behavior which was causing several issues (This is an update to our old fix)
  -- OnTouch NPC are now able to overlap one another and properly trigger as they do on official servers
  -- When entering an overlap area it should trigger both NPC
  -- Walking from overlap area to either NPC should trigger neither
  -- Walking from one NPC to the other (skipping the overlap area) should trigger the NPC area you enter
  -- Entering an OnTouch area will no longer stop the player from walking unless a message or menu window opens (or other events that should stop the player)
  -- Resolves OnTouch_ overlapping issues
    --- Dead players don't trigger OnTouch_ anymore
    --- Hidden players don't trigger NPC clicks when OnTouch_ label is defined

1. Magma Eruption still inflicts fire damage. (Tested on Salamander/Kasa, after the initial hit, the damage will miss.)

 

2. Any updates about Camouflage skill? It is still canceling after 10 seconds.

It has been broken since February 2019 updates.

 

3. Where can we get Ninetails as a pet? I have been informed the universal taimers do not work on Ninetails.

Can't test on Ninetails since universal taimers cannot be farmed.

Will we have the instance warper updated with what new instances have been implemented? If this comes as a surprise thats ok, but references to your updates on items (such as Gigantic Bow, Heart Hunter Evil Card etc.) clued me in that several new instances were implemented either knowingly or unknowingly.

From what I can tell at this moment, Jitterbug of Nightmare is implemented (the NPCs have appeared and seem to work, will try with a party later), and the Heart Hunter Evil Card points to Heart Hunter Warbase being implemented although I have not checked yet.

There's a new instance in place but i haven't announced it yet because i didn't have the time to test nor balance it at all.
So not announcing it was on purpose. And i list items as they're released on the patch notes of rAthena. I don't have the time to check every single bit ;)


Sidenote:
There's currently a known problem with the Pet Evolution which we're taking a look at.
While it was testing on our original test environment, it isn't fully working on the live server right now.

Which mercenaries exactly? The ones from the NPC?

 

Bugs:

When I relog, I get teleported to where I was prior to the maintenance

When I relog, my pet goes back to an egg (red text when hatching)

Can't put back my Baby Leopard to egg mode

There's an item in my inventory which wasn't there before maintenance - Toucan Egg that hatches into a Peco Peco

That's a core update and has nothing to do with their shown stats itself (not monster database).
This is about core mechanics within the game engine itself. Such as algorithms and whatnot.

I can't see the part where it says Sharp Shooting skill its like... "nerfed" again? the casting time takes an eternity. Please fix it... RIP Rangers.
